"Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.”

---- Søren Kierkegaard

An Enactive and Sense-making Approach to Psychotherapy

Life can often feel chaotic. The reality is that changes are presented to us outside of our control and we find ourselves faced with the task of making decisions and choices that will decide the course of our future. These untimely decisions and choices can leave us feeling bewildered and disoriented. To complicate things further, we can find ourselves stuck in emotional and behavioural patterns that inhibit and hold us back from making the decisions we would like to or that would be best for us. Sometimes it’s difficult to even know what we would like to do or what is best for us. What should you aim towards?

My education in neuroscience and lifelong experience as a musician and artist offer me a unique set of skills. As humans we are much more than just our brains. Music helps re-integrate our sense of selves through including our bodies in our thoughts. I can help you reclaim parts of your self that you avoid or may fear through art and embodied dialogue.

It is my intention that in working together in a non-judgemental, compassionate, and honest dialogue that I can help you on your path to healing. Kierkegaard once stated that "life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.” I want to help you live with the clarity, focus and energy required to support you through the chaos of life.
